Home to one of the most unique archaeological findings, masterpiece of prehistory, incredibly realistic sculpture of Adam, declared as one of the ten major archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. The sculpture of the male body in a sitting position with the deeply indented belly, well defined muscles, visible spine, and even broken phallus. Alongside with Adam, this is the place where the archaeologists found the terracotta representation of the Great Mother. Neolithic settlement site with more than 4 meters layers of history. This remarkable wealth is ornamenting the exhibition stands in the Museum of Skopje, the museum itself being located in the old train station that survived the devastating earthquake of 1963.
