Double bath; public bath for both men and women. Unusual of its kind. Unlike the standard dual baths, here, the men and women were taking a bath in the same structure. Place of rituals and beauty. Isolated areas for acclimatization, massage (in the female part, Rose ammam), toilet, wax quarters, halveti (rooms with higher temperature) ... Created for physical relaxation, but also for full enjoyment. It was built in the 16th century by Isa Bey in the Old Bazaar, using extraordinary architectural skill in order to completely blend in the structure with the surrounding environment. One of the halveties in the female part was adapted for ritual bathing of the Jews. Today, Cifte bath is a modern art gallery, one of the key points in the cultural life of the city.
